How do you get your child to stop screaming after telling her no they cant have a drink in bed?

dont get me wrong, I dont deny her a drink or two if she wants it (she is 4 yearls old) but its getting ridiculous. After the one small drink of milk or water, i tell her no more and then a few minutes later or in the middle of the night she will ask again and throws a scream fit when I tell her "No" I think she is old enough to not do this!!! Any suggestions on getting her to stop? Oh yeah, she also sleeps with me when daddy is flying I guess to give her some comfort. Am I doing something wrong?

If my girls want a drink at bed time, they have to have it before they get in bed. Once they are in bed, there are no more drinks full-stop. That way, if they don't have a drink before bed, they can't decide they are "thirsty" later.
Maybe you could work it into her bed-time routine? Say 30 min before bed, do teeth, pj's, book, drink, toilet, then in bed.
She might not understand why she can't have a second drink if she was allowed the first.
Good luck with it :)

let her throw a fit. mom is boss! if you give in, shes gonna keep throwing fits because she knows she will get what she wants. she will understand soon enough. :)
