wow all babies are different some have teeth when they are born some get them within the first 2 months etc, my son was teething since being 6 months and no teeth came through till he was 14 months and now being 32 months still has a molar on each side missing ...hes a late teether ...u shouldnt worrie about it just make sure u have on hand some teething gel or nelsons granules(they seem better for my son), but if you have any worries just pop in to your health visitor she should give you all the info or google it online there is a lot of info on babies :)

My oldest girl started showing signs of teething at around 5 months, but didn't actually cut her first tooth until she was almost 16 months. She's 23 months now and has been cutting 3 or 4 teeth at a time since she started, so she's almost caught up to getting in her 2-year molars.
My youngest girl (4 1/2 months) seems to be showing some signs of teething now (rosy cheeks, excessive drooling, gnawing on anything she can get in her mouth) but hasn't shown any signs of actually cutting a tooth.

My LO got her first teeth at 6.5 months. She was in pain/teething for about a week before they cut, she got one on the wednesday and the 2nd came in on the sunday. She is now going through it with the top ones, we are on day 2 of pain :)

My 2 year old started getting teeth at 4 months and it was a slow process and it seemed like he was always teething. My 10 y/o did not get his 1st tooth till he was 1 and they all came it at once it seemed, his teething was alot quicker and over sooner. How old is your child that this concerns you? speak to your pediatrician and see what he says

My first son didn't get his first tooth until a week before his 1st b-day. And then the rest of the front teeth followed immediately. And he never seemed bothered by them.
