my son is 14 months and he goes to bed at 8pm wakes up about 730 8am and then he gets a nap at 10 until he wakes up and another nap at 2 i just let him sleep as long as he needs its his body if he didnt need all that sleep then he wouldnt take it but lately the naps have gone back to an hour on the dot when he was teething and all that and maybe growing some he would sleep anywhere from an hour and a half to 2 hours

it depends on the child.

my daughter is 15 months and she has one nap in the middle of the day , anywhere from 1-3 hrs!!

I think most kids should get a good 12 hours overnight though.

well when my son took 2 naps a day also, up until he was 18 months, but they were 2 hours max.. Sounds OK to me,
but if she's getting cranky alot, maybe she just needs more changes of scenery or it could be anything!! Trying something new maybe, new games or songs or crafts?

Well, my 14 month-old daughter sleeps all night long (around 12 hours) plus 2 naps (one starting at about 1pm and then the last one around 5pm). Her naps last around 2-3 hours each! Isn't that a lot? She gets really cranky after just 2 hours after being awake at any time of day! Is that part normal? She sucks her thumb, so sometimes she's awake when I go to wake her up and other times she's fast asleep.

Well, it really depends on you... If you want them to take a 1-2 hour nap and they will, then let them.. if they only take 20 - 30 mins then its fine too... It's just up to you on how long you will let him/her sleep during the day :D I hope this helped
