I was just curious as to how many moms out there are concerned about what kind of chemicals are in your house? And what effects these chemicals can have on you and your children, either directly or indirectly?

I am concerned especally about the fums that are in the air when you use some products. We are on a fixed income and can not afford alot of organtic anything and how I do this is wait till my son is in school and do my cleaning then. That way he is not breathing all the stuff in and when he gets home the smell has died down so it will not harm him at all. Summer time was difficult so I did it when he was playing with other friends unless they were all in my house. My husband and I always talk about this. I have allergy problems and so does my son. I am bordor line asmatic so even I have to be real careful. Anyone with suggustions I would love to hear from you too.

I am to some sort! I use mostly vinegar and water as cleaners! I am not int the antibacterial cleaners! I believe that you need some bacteria in your system to be healthy!

Hey! I am VERY cautious about what I clean with!! I use the best products that are all natural and don't contain any harmful chemicals. I've heard of so many horror stories about harmful chemicals in the cleaning products. If your interested in what I am using, just send me a message and I would LOVE to help you out!!

I am not a very organic person in my everyday life, but cleaning supplies is the one area that I am. I buy a lot of the Method Brand Organic Cleaning Products from Target. They smell wonderful and are non-toxic. We can't afford to buy all organic food, but we can afford the cleaning supplies. I think about the fact of hot water and steam that heats those chemicals, they rise into the air, and then we breathe them in.

I am... I buy all natural and baby safe cleaners because chemicals can be very strong on small humans. If they can affect our adult bodies then just think of how much they can affect a small person who is not fully developed. :)
