I found that putting the baby on a schedule worked for me. And i never put him in the crib unless its bedtime. He either plays in the swing or on the floor mat or bouncy chair. and he is only 3 months old.. You need to make sure you establish that the crib is for night time only. And keeping your little one up during the day and cutting out on naps help as well.. They say that normally around 8 weeks to 9 weeks old is a good time to start establishing a schedule. So i hope these tips helped! Good Luck and good rest!

try to get her up early in the morning and play with her as much as you can then around noon lay down for a nap, then she will be tired around 8 or that for awhile and she will be back to the right ways of sleeping

Sweetie, how old is your little princess? Sleeping during the day and waking up at night is just a phase. Try feeding her more during the day between 2-3 hrs difference that way she has a full tummy towards night time and gets sleepy. Also, a warm bath before bedtime always does a good job on setting kids in the mood for sleep. I have 2 boys who were night owls until they had more feedings in the day time.

Brianna, Try sleeping with a flannel or light weight blanket for a couple of days, then put it in your little girl's crib. She will smell you (or your significant other too), and will feel more comfortable. This has worked for numerous friends and my son as well. Don't worry about having the later need to ween off the blanket you just wash with her laundry and all will be well.
