After four months we stopped feeding him in the middle of the night, then about two weeks later we would let him fuss/cry and usually after ten minutes he would have fallen back asleep already. My son needs to fuss himself to sleep, that is how it works for him. Even if I rock him to sleep, he still fusses. So I just let him fuss, it worked for us. He has been sleeping through the night since we started doing it. There is a book called 'the baby sleep book' which I would recommend reading, it gives many tips and exercises to get baby sleeping through the night. I found it at my local library.

Some babies just don't sleep well, my daughter didn't start sleeping through the night until she was well over 8 months old. And even still usually wakes up once or twice, and she is over 10 months old. Your not alone!!! Many people told me endless things to try - with no success!!! Your little girl will sleep when she's ready!!! Hopefully sooner than later for the sake of your sanity. Have you tried napping less during the day??? (I know it's hard to keep a sleepy baby awake, and can often lead to a cranky baby, but may give you a couple extra hours at night.)
