How to have fun with 3 kids under the age of 5?

I have 3 children. They are 4, 2, and a newborn. Our days just seem to drag. I don't have a lot of money and it is hard to get out with a newborn. Any ideas to make our days go smoother and have more excitement?

I know that it's hard to get out, but I always found that it was worth the effort once we did (we have four kids born in the span of 5.5 years). I used to bring the two year old in the stroller, insist that the four year old hold the stroller while we walked and I carried the baby in a carrier. Even if you don't go to the playground a little walk and some fresh air is good. At home, little kids love to bake. Put the two old ones in the tub just to play while you clean the bathroom. If you have the space, set up a little craft area and have a time for drawing and making things most days. Get the kids to help with chores like matching socks and wiping the table. Sing songs and dance to music. Hide something and play hot and cold.

Take them to the park. Bring lunches and have a picnic then let them run around and get tired out. Your infant can stay in the stroller and nap ;) we love going to the park. Where do you live , I can recommend some parks.
