I have to get out of the house everyday to stay sane. Even if it is just for a walk around the block. We go to a local park to run around, walk on the nature preserve, indoor bounce house, local mc donalds....anything for a breath of fresh air. I agree with's how I met alot of friendly moms in our's also great for the kids to get them socialized. Meetup groups have lots of activities. Hope this helps.

I agree with the other moms get out of the house. That was my problem and it darn near drove me crazy. Its so many things to do.I like the park in warm weather so they can play and I could enjoy the scenery. Do you have someone you trust that can watch the children for a few hours so you can have time to yourself? That would really help also. Im going to try the meetup website myself so I can meet some new people.

My kids are 10 and 14 and we homeschool so most days we stay home to get lessons and housework done in the mornings . To keep the crazies away we set up a schedua so each afternoon we go do something different. Monday we go to the library Tuesday we stay home Wed church Thurs thift store shopping and Fri we go grocery shopping and run errands On the weekend we go on day trips to museum or visit out of town familyl

I like to take my kids to McDonalds play place. I feed them at home, because I definately don't want them to eat junk everyday, then take them to play. I buy a $1 drink or sometimes yogurt for a treat, and let them play for hours. I also get a chance to talk to other moms and my kids get to play with other kids. This works great for me, because I only go on days I feel like it, or don't have other things to do. I could never really sign up for a class, because I hate knowing that I have to be somewhere on a certain day at a certain time.
