Hey Ladies!

I have seen several posts about needing to make new friends. Well, I just thought I would throw out a couple of suggestions!

1.) MOPS (Mother's of Pre-schoolers) It's a program just for Mom's... usually though a local church in your area. Most MOPS groups have child care arrangements so not only do you get a little adult time, your kiddos get a little kid time as well.

2.) Mommy and Me classes: check your local YMCA or with your local Parks and Recreation office and see if there is anything available in your area. I have checked into this in our area and there is a Gym that provides a toddler gymnastics class and Mommies are encouraged to tag along!

3.) Sports: T ball and Soccer registration is available for kiddos as young as 3 years of age! It's great exercise, they get to play outside, meet new friends and learn how to be apart of a team!

4.) Toddler time at your local library. Most local libraries offer a story/craft time durring the week... some even offer this a couple of times a week. This is a great way to get your kids excited about books and again, they are meeting kids their age and the more you go, the more you might see the same people there and start to build relationships.

5.) Check your local news website or newspaper and check for free activities that may be available for your kids! Its a great way for you just to get out of the house and try something new!

Hope this helps!
