My son is 2 years and 3 months and he I am still breastfeeding him. He wants milk at nap time, morning, night and afternoon. I feel so stressed and I really want to stop. Please help...any suggestions?

I agree totally with Dove's suggestion but if it is causing great distress then Sarah E's advice isn't so harsh either. It just sounds harsh. It happens all the time with pregnant mom's who just feel they cannot do it anymore. Many nurse through pregnancy but some pregnant mother's cannot take it. It sounds to my like you might just be overwhelmed by his demands, and if that is it then cutting him back and putting Mom back in the driver's seat might do the trick just as well if not better than cold turkey. When my daughter was 2 she got a terrible Rotavirus and she went from barely nursing once at night to nursing around the clock. The child that gave the Rotavirus to my child was younger and had long been weaned and she was hospitalized but my baby girl never got that horribly dehydrated. Although, I really did want her hospitalized too at the time. Only later did I realize home nursing with me 24/7 was probably the best thing for her. But both babies survived. Really all the advice I have read so far is good, so do what feels right to you. Go with your gut not with guilt or with someone else's pressure.
