My husband and I have been together for 18-19 years. We have 3 children who I have stayed at home to raise. We have been having lots of arguments lately and within these arguments I am finding out things and how he feels towards me. I am having a hard time understanding how he can say he loves me but then say horrible things to me. He also uses his family against me... Like he tells them about me and they agree... I have to be honest this sent me for a loop. These comments are getting very hurtful and nasty.. And now knowing that he is talking to his family hurts even more. I know that I am sensitive but how do I let go of these attacking words and let go of the hurt.. Knowing that his family doesn't like me hurts more then I realized it would.

I am not perfect and my husband I thought had a pretty solid relationship. Recently we have been arguing n about money and were our money should be spent as well as time spent with my youngest daughter, and how hep refers to be with the boys who are older.

When we argue he spins my words and makes me feel guilty for questioning him.... And it turns into an argument....:-(

I am so sorry you are going through this.. I am very sensitive as well but only to people that I are about. It can be very hard and a tough pill to swallow learning others feeling s about you especially coming right out of the blue. 19yrs is a long time and people change I am sure you have changed as well. In my opinion never let things slide always address the issues maybe not at the time because it can make the situation worst. Maybe when things calm down and let him know that he hurt your feeling and why what he said hurt your feelings. Most importantly ask him what's really wrong with him because it may not be you but you are just the target at the time. Good luck and I hope things work out. Be Strong...
