It's been two months since my C-section and I'm still bleeding. Bright red sometimes, brown sometimes. But it is constant. I don't know what I should do. I'm not sure if my insurance will cover a visit to see someone. I don't do any physical activity other than holding my baby, walking, and going up or down stairs every now and then. I'm really unsure what to do.

I didn't have a c-section, but after I had my 2nd I bled for 9 weeks. I ended up going in for an ultrasound because they thought perhaps some of the placenta was left behind. They found nothing, and a couple of days later the bleeding stopped altogether. I would call your doc and ask them what the possible causes could be. 2 months is a long time to be bleeding constantly, and bright red still. Since this is related to your birth (most likely) your insurance will probably cover it. I would call the doc and see what they suggest you do, and then possibly call your insurance company and see if they would cover it.

If there's a strong smell, like rotting flesh, you should see someone asap.
