Your situation reminds me of my nephew – my sister struggled to get him to daycare. He would just cry at the top of his voice and threw a fit. She recorded very bit of it and played it to him once he returned. This happened a couple of times! Then I think he didn’t like the way he looked in the video and gradually stopped. I really hope you will quickly find a solution to your situation, as well. Good luck, momma!

My 4 year old was like this when he first started going to daycare. It was so frustrating but you have to be able to put your foot down and get them going. My son would cling to my leg and just cry. It broke my heart to see him so upset. But you have to work and they have to get used to being separated from you. I hate to say use the reward system because it almost feels like you are rewarding their bad behavior but it works. I kept dollar store toys and stickers in the car. He only got them if he didn't cry or throw a fit. Then if he went a whole week with no tantrums we went to ice cream when I got off of work on Friday. Hope this helps and good luck. I know it feels like you want to rip your hair out. But it will get better.
