I know this seems like a silly sugguestion. But it works: everyday when your husband gets home from work, take 10 minutes just you and him sit on the couch and talk. If your child begs for attention tell them just wait until mommy and daddy have our talk time. Afterwards you can play with daddy. Having your child see you and your husband talk and knowing that you have time together helps them feel succure. We were suggested to do this and it worked for us. Don't know why...but I"m glad.

i got my daughter a special stuffed animal for her 1st birthday that is associated with bedtime and naps only.  now when i tell her it's time for bed, she searches the room for her bedtime "moo moo cow" and carries it to her crib, ready to go to sleep.  i think that the key is following a routine and sticking to it, whether it's a bedtime animal, bath, story, song, or whatever works for you and your daughter!

Sorry to hear that your baby girl always ends up in your bed. One way to help her stop for sleeping with you during the night try a re-wared system. Get 1 large construction paper then write her name and for her good deeds from picking up toys, etc.. she does she get a sticker and this could also work on everything.........

Hope this helps!

"The No-Cry Sleep Solution For Toddlers and Preschoolers" by Elizabeth Pantley.

Bedtime has become 1000 times easier in our house, and she sleeps better too. :-)

My little girl had that problem, and what I did was I would sit next to her crib and put my arm through the bars and hold her hand or rub her back and let her know I was there and just stay there until she fell back asleep. I even would sleep on the floor right next to her crib. It was uncomfy as I was abour 4 months preggo at the time, but it worked. I'm due next month and she will be 2 next month and has been in a toddler bed since CHristmas...it will get better, just hold out. It took about a month for her to go back to sleep on her own. She might have been going through a growth spurt.

i have the same problem with my little boy - he's 16 months old. i think the best solution is be determined about not letting her in ya bed, try and give her a warm drink of milk when she wakes up and each night just give her less milk. this will, hopefully, teach her that there isnt any point in getting up. i know its going to be hard but you have to stick with it. have you tried cuddling her till she goes back to sleep then putting her back into bed coz that also works.... good luck!!
