My little girl is outgrowing everything. She is set for summer, but she really badly needs fall and winter 18-24 month stuff, and on from there. This economy has me struggling badly. And we all know that passing around clothes for babies is the wiser choice. If any one possibly has anything that they can pass on , could you send it my way? God bless and thank you..

Sincerely- A poor struggling Mom- Tara

I have found many, many clothes at local garage sales. You would be surprised at the quality of clothes people will sale. And, they sell them for less than $1/piece most of the time!!! It has helped us thru the worst of times. It gets harder as they get older, but truthfully I can still find clothes for my daughter (7) most of the time, but for my older son (9) it's nearly impossible. Boys just wear out their clothes so quickly. Make a plan to go early on Saturday mornings, get a local paper, and take cash. I would take $20 the first time and stop when you run out of money. You will be surprised out how many clothes you come home with!! :O)

Unfortunately, I do not have any clothes to help you out. My daughter is 8 now and I have long since disposed of her infant/toddler clothes. However. I do have some great suggestions to help you with your situation.

Try http://www.freecycle.org/ Many times people are looking for someone to take outgrown childrens clothes off their hands.

What I did was take my daughter's clothes to a resale shop as soon as she outgrew them. I had the option of either taking the money, or using it as an in store credit. Generally, I would browse around and try to find something that would fit her in their store. If I was unsuccessful in finding something in her size, I would accept the money and go to another store that did. Good luck!
