Susan, you will probably always have numbness. Mine has never gone away but even if i had no feeling and had a lump for the rest of my life i'd be happy because my babies were totally worth it. =)

It's been almost 17 months since mine I lost the weight right away but after I had to stop breast feeding and go on meds for PPD I packed it back on hardcore. I too still have a lot of numbness in certain areas of my stomach and wonder if I will ever get the feeling back.

you will never really lose the lump of the belly after a C-section. your always going to have a little something there. but to get it some what down you need to give your self more then 3 months. just walk and do sit ups. eat healthy.

I've had 3 c-sections and never had problems losing my belly although, it took longer than 3 months so give yourself time. You weren't even suppose to start working out hard till at least 6 - 8 weeks after. I have to say though at 35 it takes a little longer. I've always done it with cardio and weights. My fave ab workout are leg lifts and sit ups on the exercise ball. Good luck and be patient.
