I noticed I forgot to put she was a directly on the toilet girl, she didn't even like the over the toilet potty seat. So you need to figure out what she likes.

I just went straight for it. It took me 5 days. I did have her potty chair in bathroom for a long time. She would come in with me and sit on chair (pants on). I tried getting her to sit on it, pants off but she wasn't really into it.

A little background ~I had a hard time with my son potty training, and I had done all the suggestions. Letting him sit on it diaper on, then having him sit diaper off, taking him every two hours, but he'd just sit there and then pee when I took him off. It was frustrating. I offered him prizes etc... I finally got an over the toilet potty seat and that finally worked but by the time was trained he was nearly 4. I didn't want to go thru that with my daughter.

So like I said I went straight for it when I realized she wasn't having the potty chair. I put her in underwear day one after morning pee and told her that she needed to let me know when she needed to pee because she couldn't get her underwear wet. I constantly asked her if she needed to pee and also took her every time I needed to pee or every hour and a half to two hours, which ever came first. If she went with me I would pee then clean and flush then tell her it was her turn.all drinking stopped by 6pm. (bedtime is 8pm.I actually started 6pm stop before beginning potty training, about a week beforehand).

Another try at the potty before bed and then a diaper was put on. Next morning underwear and potty time. I noticed that she wasn't a get up and pee girl she waited about 20mns. So keep an eye on that, I adjusted time in mornings to try for that. By the third day she peed first time in toilet in the morning and then rest of day. That night she slept with underwear on. By the fourth day she had her first experience in public toilet

So she had experienced all by fifth day.

Also just a little tip, I always keep a ziploc bag of Clorox wipes in my bag to wipe down public seat (if she can wait that long). I also grab two paper towels on my way in, that way I can wrap the ends of the toilet seat before she sits, just in case there is no toilet seat covers. If there is toilet seat covers I grab two keep them folded and wrap the edge of the seats. Then use the paper towels I grabbed to dry hands after.

A lot of them are getting rid of papertowels, so I make sure I always have wipes. To wipe it down and just make sure you go before she really needs to go. Always pee before leaving house, if she couldn't go then pee before leaving store especially if not going straight home, or if home is far.

By the way in the two years since she has been potty trained she has never had an accident, wait no I lie. She did once but that was because she was too busy playing and didn't want to stop and go. That was about a month ago. So just goes to show even two years past potty traning, you still need to make sure she takes time to stop and go!
