I love my husband. I love my son. I have been seeking professional help for this issue, but I still feel no desire for sex. before I got pregnant I always seemed to have a unstoppable libido. Now my son is 2 years old and things have been very hard for us financially. I'm wondering if my turn off to sex has anything to do with this. I am frustrated because I am not ready for another child, I am on birth control and when we have sex I always make him use a condom. Is it possible that I am subconsciously pushing my husband away in fear of getting pregnant with a child we can not afford? I feel this all the time. I work part time and my husband gets disability payments but it is not enough to even make so our bills are paid and we can buy diapers and clothes for our son. I love my baby boy and I give up a lot for him. I'm working myself to the bone just to try and give him a good life.

and if anyone dares call me selfish, dont even bother answering this post. I'm seeking out help for my repression unlike some people who just want their marriages to end due to lack of intimacy. I give my husband what he wants when ever he wants. I just go with the flow for him because i love him. there isn't anything terrible and selfish about this. it's called postpartom depression or stress, I want to see this repression leave me so I can have my marriage back.

There are pills you can get on to get your libido back if you choose. You COULD have PPD if this has been going on since your son was born. Usually it happens within the first 6 months, but it wouldn't be uncommon for you to have it now. It seems like you are depressed and I think seeking help is a great idea.

Don't push yourself though, and don't force yourself. That will just make you more unhappy right?

I don't think you're being selfish, I think there are underlying issues you need to deal with. And you seem to be on the right track.
