I’m thinking of opening up a day home should I go private or through an agency?

I'm thinking of opening up a day home so that i can stay home with my son. and i do have experence with children but i can't seem to desided. would love to here the pros and cons of both sides.



as well where would you feel most Comfortable leaving your child.

i totaly agree with patricia i am a child care worker and will be doing the same when we move into our new house...i think an agency (councel as we do in australia) is better as they will let you know exactaly what standards your home needs to meet and you will neva have anyone on your door step saying an acdident was you fault because you house was not safe...they are also a good idea as you dont have to worry about parents paying you as the agency will take care of all that :) good luck

being registered would be better for clientel, many working moms earn minimum wage and child care eats up the earnings by not being private the government will pay part of the bill plus parents can be confident that you have cpr and a clean criminal record check
