I am a stay at home mother to a almost 2 year old. I am also in my senior year of college (night classes), a manager of a direct sales jewelry company and a nanny.
I nanny for a 5 year old little boy and starting next week I will be watching his 6week old little brother. I am confident that I will be able to watch all three of them but I'm worried about activities, schedules and finding things to do with the older two. PLUS this is a 8 to 5 Mon-Fri job. So I want to make sure I can keep up with school and my manager position.
Any advice?

Little People, go fish or other card games, legos, play dough, coloring, marker board/chalk board, sticker books. Things that keep the older kids busy. You can also get 2-3 bins and fill them with appropriate toys then take one out per week so that they have different toys to play with. Get the baby used to playing in a playpen. That way you can go outside or let the older kids play when inside without the baby putting toys in their mouth etc. Get creative with the older kids. Water guns in the summer or they like to "paint" with water. Finger paints are fun or shaving cream on the table. You can also get a big tupperware container and fill with beans or rice and add a few scoops or trucks and get that out once in a while. Things to keep the older kiddos busy (for at least half an hour) while little one is taking a nap, in the swing or in the playpen will really help you destress and study, clean....or whatever. Good luck!

Create a routine! That includes a scheduled nap time for the littlest one and rest time for the other two. Outline activities that you can do with them daily, such as table time for an art project, coloring, or play doh; TV time for an hour; outside running time to wear them out; story time; game time, lunch time, snack time, etc.
