If you put them to bed after a bottle + a burp or 4 they will sleep for lots longer - my girl does that sometimes too and I thought it was gas but I think it may be growing pains - in which case you just have to wait it out - it must be really sore for them.. and also frustrating for those of us who are waiting on the edge of our seats for them to be asleep so we can be haha. How old is he? If hes over 3 months he could be starting to teethe - if you run your finger along his gum line and feel bumps then he probably is.. In which case - even though I hate them and swore I would never get one - get a dummy - put bonjella on his gums then dummy in after and he should fall asleep almost instantly.. Otherwise it might be wind - if around his mouth goes blueish he needs a burp :)
