I need help from experienced mothers! My baby started to bite my nipples and I could not breastfeed the last 2 days. Breasts are hurting. What to do?

hello from a mom who still breastfeeds a 14 month old with chompers-
when my son bites i "yelp" and say NO and OW, and refuse the nipple for a few mins.
your baby will learn that when he bites, he wont get to feed, and hopefully stop!

You can also GENTLY push the baby's head toward your breast when the biting occurs long enough for him/her to release. It gets the point across that biting isn't OK. Just be sure it is gentle and ONLY until the baby releases. That will save damage to your nipples as well.

For starters you could get some nipple shields to use until your nipples are healed.

Next time your baby bites, take him off the breast while saying "NO" firmly. Don't give him the breast for a minute or 2 and he will soon realize that if he bites, it will get taken away.
