Oh my...I hope he is well after the evaluation.

Could it be that he is just needier then the rest of the children his age.

My daughter was born 3 weeks preterm (not premature just at 37 weeks) and they said that it could cause some delay...

Good luck!

Yes he was in the nicu because I had him when I was only 5 months pregnant and he only weighed 15oz.

OMG! I am so sorry, I didn't realize he was in NICU.

Please do get him evaluated.

I'm really really sorry.

I meant everything I said for a baby that was healthy.

You're having your child evaluated because you can't talk on the phone?

He was nice for the first 4 months of his life...?

Are you people okay?

He is one....

Hello, Evelyn witt, my 1 year old was in the nicu for the first 4 months of life.... I have tried putting him in child care because he is so attached to me that didn't work! And with the fone issue we have even gave him a real phone but he doesn't want it. Even if his grandparents are on the phone when he's around it's the same thing. I am currently waiting for regional center to do an intake on him. And I do agree with you as to there has to be another reason as to why he us so denanding. I am the 4th oldest out of 25 kids and my child is the 1st 1 year old I have ever seen like this

My daughter is demanding because I am always there for her and always will be...there is nothing wrong with a demanding child. She will play on her own for like 5-7 minutes but then wants me to play with her.

Just pay attention to your child the more you interact and play with them the more advance they are...from my experience. My daughter has done everything before all the other children we know and she speaks more then them.

I agree with Kallisti Dischordia and I think Charmeika Rainey has a different opinion because she has 6 children and cannot give all of her attention to 1 child.

I would never leave my 1 year old alone while I'm in the washroom...I cannot talk on the phone until she is asleep...

Follow what Kallisti said!

Wait a min.kallisti that so isn't the case. First off I am a mother of 6 kid's!!! I have always been able to go "wee wee" without having to to worry about my child screaming to the top of his lungs!!! And of course I have to answer phone calls I do have other kids in school, doctor's calling, not to mention those are all important calls!!! How long have you been a parent because its only obviously you not teaching YOUR CHILD that the world don't revolve around him!!! Thank you good bye

falling out? out of what? one year olds are demanding. and two year olds and three year olds. why not leave your phone conversations til hes having a nap... most people barely get a moment to go for a wee wee till their kids are three years old. arrange a sitter and have a nice time otu with friends where you dont have to worry but the rest of the time you need to keep your attention completely focused on your kids. thats what being a mom is im afraid. i used to lock myself in the toilet to speak on the phone even now i still do that!! or include him in the conversation? or get him a little toy phone so he can pretend hes talking too?
