I've resigned from my job to be a SAHM starting mid-October - now what?

I have a 2yo daughter and another little girl due in December. My daughter is delayed and has some health troubles that require more time than my husband or I can put in while working full time. My husband and I decided that now would be a good time for me to stay at home so I can take care of her running around and the new baby's needs as well.... But.... What do I do? This sounds ridiculous but I have no clue how to make sure she's learning everything she needs to know at the right times and getting the socialization she needs. Also, how do I get enough parent interaction so I'm not going bonkers? Are there any good books on being a SAHM? I'm scouring the Internet for resources, meetup groups, trying to start a blog... Any hints how I should start this process? Does anyone have a suggestion for Northern Virginia mom's groups? Thank you!

putting your daughter into daycare/kinder would work wonders for her development. most libraries have weekly reading sessions where you take all your children and the librarian sits down and reads them a few books (in australia anyway)
