Im 28 weeks along and the baby is weighing 3 pounds already, any idea at what size im looking at her

37 weeks my second child was between 5lbs to 5lbs ten 0z and was born at 40weeks 4days at 6lbs 50z.your baby could be under or over 3lbs sometimes there not accurate but in my case the weren't to off.most of the weight is in the last weeks my baby did very well to get to 6lbs 5oz.

I am 4 foot 11 and of small weight ,my first was 7lbs 70z which was good for my size and she was long to and is over for height for a five year old.

what ever size the baby is more than likely you will give birth naturally if not thats okay too.a healthy little one is most important.i gave birth naturally on my first no problem and c-section on my second due to her placenta coming away.i wish you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy:)

My son was born at 41 weeks. He was 8 lbs 6 oz and 21.5 inch long. I am petite so this was a total suprise for me. I ate an overall heathy diet. But did indulge in sweets and fast food a few times a week. I didn't get a ton of exercise. Light walks once or twice a week. So I am not sure if I would have had a small child if I had eatten better and gotten more exercise. My overall weight gain was within normal. I am 23 weeks along with my second son. I am sure you will have a happy and healthy baby.

best thing to do i found was ask your mother and your mother in law what weight all there kids came out because chances are it will be around these weights.
that was the case with me anyway... my mother in laws 1st (a girl) was 8lb 5oz
and my 1st (a girl) was also 8lb 5oz!! :).

will just add i was 111lb before i fell pregnant with my 1st and am 5ft 6in so not a big woman.

i was 6lb 13oz born at 36 weeks
my partner was born 8lb and was over due

I'm around 35 weeks and my doctor said that my son is around 4 pounds at my last appointment and will gain 1/2 a pound per week. So I'm guessing he's around 5 pounds for this week. I will see the doc again on Monday for my regular 2 week check-up.

Its so hard to say, because weight estimates from ultrasounds are often inaccurate. My ob wouldn't even give me a size estimate because he didn't want to make any rash decisions based on it (such as... he was too big for me to give birth vaginally), thats how much he didn't trust them. So yeah, it could be a total surprise!

They gain weight more when you are farther along. The size of the baby really can depend on your size and how your diet is during pregnancy. My kids where both a little over 6lbs and where perfectly healthy and my doctor said that they would not have been any bigger no matter what because I am only 5ft 2' and weighed 105 when I got pregnant. So if you are on the smaller size you can expect between 6 and 8 depending on your diet.
