I work from home but not in the typical sense. I'm considered self-employed. So i don't take orders from other company. Maybe that is more of what you are looking for. If so figure out what you are good at and do that.

I know a person who makes raviolis, freezes them and sells them at farmers markets every weekend.People even sell pies and cookies at farmers markets.
Others make quilts or children's costumes ( or other various crafts) and sells them through
Other people turn their home into a day care. You only need to take a few children in to make some money.

I personally do graphics art, and i am what is called a developer for a few websites. I won't lie, doing what i do took years to actually make some real profit. Now I only make a little more than a full time min wage job( but i put in maybe 15-20 hours a week). I could make more if i decided to freelance and do other jobs but i'm comfortable where i am. I do not have to sell someone else's products and make pennies.

I say yes!! I signed up for Scentsy Wickless Candles 3 yrs ago. When I first started selling I worked a seasonal job with H&R Block for 13 yrs. Of course at first I only made a couple hundred extra per month. After joining Scentsy I worked for H&R block for two more years. Scentsy is a business and you have to treat it as such. At first I would put alot of my profit back into my business, but now I don't have too!!
