Really, at 6 months? How odd. I would then back off of it for the time being and try again in a week or 2. Broth is very salty and fatty so it can be hard on little tummies.

I always waited until mine wanted to eat with their fingers before introducing meats, I then cooked in very little fat, with little salt. I would sometimes add a few herbs like basil. With my daughter I started with ground turkey, my son had a bit of broiled fish first.

As a mom who didn't fallow what they doctor told me to feed him, I went by what he was really telling me, liked didn't like. I started to give my son rice cereal at 3 months as he would never sleep through the night and have about 25 ounces at night. I gave my son meats about the same time as you but I made all my own. I boiled the chicken then used the blender on it, so I also had my own broth. I could skim most of the fat out. But I would try just potato water. My son didn't like potatoes either well his stomach. But I found if I made boiled potatoes for myself I could use the water to mix into his vegies. It worked that way. His body got use to the starches. At about eight months he was eating mashed potatoes and gravy. But every baby is different. I find baby food from a jar is so high is well everything that I had to make all my own plus it saved me a bundle. I see how much baby food is costing my brother that I am laughing at how much money I saved. If you are buying jared food and boxed broth that might be what is bugging his tummy. Just boil some chicken and try it that way. Good luck!

Hi Brittany ...she's already eatto her veggies and she only had a bad reaction to peas... Now I am doing fruits and I gave her pears and she seems ok with it... My ped told me to move on to the broth and potatoes....

You should have steered clear of the chicken broth and potatoes, they are hard to digest.

Get pureed fruits and veggies start them one at a time, with about 3-5 days between introducing a new one. That way if she has an allergic reaction you'll know which food caused it.

I wouldn't add meat or meat products to her diet until at least 8 months, depending on how well she takes the fruits and veggies.
