Mommies, I need a little advice...at what age did you introduce pillows into the crib/bed with your child? My little boy is 17 months old, and a stomach sleeper...he loves to be laying on a pillow snuggled with a blankey, but I'm not certain this is the best for him. Please let me know what your opinions are! Thanks in advance!

If you're not comfortable with it yet, don't be in a rush. I let my son have one at 17 months and he's mostly a back sleeper, but I was still nervous about it. I checked on him the first few nights and he was fine and actually stayed put on his back all night and didn't toss and turn all over the bed like he did before. If you're worried about suffocation, give him a very flat and thin pillow to use and remove his bumper pad, if he still has it in there, so his head won't get wedged between that and the pillow when he's on his tummy.
