My baby boy is 4 months old. I have read that between 4-6 months you can start introducing your baby to baby food like applesauce, plums, and other fruits. I bought a box of rice cereal for him as well but have yet to use it. Any suggestions/recommendations?

I wouldn't be in a rush to start offering your son solids yet. I say take your time and just enjoy your little baby. My ped said we could start him on solids around 5 months because he was so big but I still waited until he was closer to 6 months. Babies need time for their digestive system to develop. At the end of the day you have to do what's right for you and your baby. But I'd say wait a bit. Plus it's just more stuff you have to carry lol :)
