Try infant cereal made from rice, oats, or barley, less chance of allergic reaction. You can always talk to a pediatrician about this stuff or a dietician. Go with your gut if you think he needs more food. Just watch out for constipation.

its not too early, but some people say it is not nutritios enough for babies becaus ethye dont eat much so they should have fortified food, i say trust yoursefl, see how he goes & check for any reactions or mood changes but if he likes it then do

i was reading that babys shouldnt have weet till they are one. my baby is 7 months and i didnt give him food till 6 months n just started with a rice cereal. Or raferty's makes those packets of food with like banana, mango, pear n nothing else they are good. Should be high in iron aswell. They cant actually digest the wholegrains of weetbix until they are one. That is why they cant have cows milk tll they are one 2 because they cant digest it. Anyways all the best, done some study over my 2.5 yrs of parental n nursing life not long but ive researched ALOT lol!

babys need to be at least 6mths before you start solids, as their digestive system isnt fully formed and working properly before that age. try weetbix around 8mths. because its not a soft fully pureed food, baby wont be able to swallow it properly.

babies stomachs are also not mature enough for food before 6 months this is why they give the age limit they get all the vitamins and nutrients they need from breastmilk, my first son was 9lb 13.5oz so you'd think he'd be really hungry but i didnt feed him till he was 6 months old, he certainly never needed more before that

give bub something which has less chance of an allergic reaction, weetbix is one of the worst to start with, rice cereal much better, try the organic one cause its got less sugar

my baby was fully weaned by that age, baby porridge for breakfast and a tin for lunch, one for tea...the fruit pots are great to feed them too. my baby is so healthy, trust your instincts! xx

Yes it is to soon to give him weetabix.. U could give him pablum. They have all different flavors of that. My son when he was baby, I use to give him pablum and mixed in a little bit of jarred baby vanilla custard three times a day and then a bottle of milk. And that usually filled him up..

I would say no too, i was told i had to wait when my children were 6 months before i had to put them on solids, i breastfed my two girls, but chloe(my eldest girl) was she a greedy girl, my breast milk wasn't enough, so she went on to formula, that didn't work so i brought in weetbix and baby rice different times in with the formula milk, she was only 2/3 months that did help, trust your instints x
