I just started using Your Shape for the wii and I feel so much better day to day then I did before. I was wondering if anyone else had suggestions on workouts to do around the home. With weights or anything else. Thank you!

I love Jillian Michaels. Almost all of her DVD workouts are 30minutes, so it makes it easy to fit in a session.

Thanks everyone for all the input!

I actually have heard from everyone the the P90X is amazing, but very hard. Very effective though.

I just started trying yoga. I am not very good, but I am trying ;)

I have heard a lot about Zumba and I do want to try and go to a class or two.

I actually have a personal trainer that I am starting next week, but since I cannot see him everyday I like having several workouts to do at home. I def want to get my pre baby body back. I still have kind of a bump. My son is 8 months now and its time to get my butt in gear ;)

Thanks again everyone. Its so great to hear from other moms!

I've tried doing pilates here and there, but honestly I'm horribly self-motivated so I just never stick with it very long, and I tend to not push myself very hard either.

What I did was sign up for a pilates class- its actually through a local community college and they have non-credit courses you can take for fun. I LOVE IT!! I gets me out of the house for an hour twice a week, and I actually *do* it rather than sitting around at home trying to motivate myself. And its such a great workout. I'm taking aerobics next :)

turbo jam and P90X are beachbody products...they are from the infomercials you see on tv like sunday afternoon or early morning.

I like to go for walks, kick a ball around with my boys, pilates, yoga, turbo jam, just dance with kids. Libraries often have workout videos that you can borrow for a bit to test drive. Just make sure you are eating enough to keep you metabolism up.

I have some turbo jam videos that I use 1-2 times per week, as well as an exercise ball and some free weights. I'm pretty pumped, actually, as my daughter is just shy of 8 months old and I'm actually down a couple pounds from my PRE-pregnancy weight now! =)

Honestly--P90X is the best workout ever. I gained about 75-80 lbs on my second child but after less than 6 months i was back down to 116 lbs. I will recommend it to every stay home moms like me who has no time for the gym :)

I use leg and wrist weights while I am doing my housework. Also, I do a pilates video 3 times a week and yoga 2 times a week. I give myself the week-end off so that my husband doesn't have to see me in my sweats (lol)
