She'll let you know when she's full. My son is a huge eater but he still lets me know when he's full. He used to eat two jars to and then some mashed banana. As he got older he just ate more because he's burning it all off so fast. Its not bad to feed her if she's hungry, just feed her slow enough so she can realize it when she's full. The doctor told me not to worry about the amount going into my son, that if he was asking for it than he needed it. I also learned that since he ate so much during meal times that he didn't want snacks so he only eats three times a day and has been since we started giving him baby food. Good luck!

you are not over feeding, when my daughter came home from the hospital 10 years ago she could not hold down any liquid, so as directed by the doctors I had to mix oatmeal or rice with her milk. Not to thin and not to thick, she had to have this untill she was almost 2, the reason for that is because she was 3 months premature so she was a little behind a full term baby. When your baby gets full you will know. Your doing great.

I agree with the other moms. Try adding rice cereal. It worked wonders with my little girl. She was a much happier baby. keep up the good work. your doing great

Feed that baby, girl! :) I'd add some cereal like the other moms said - it will fill her up more, or try pureeing her some food. She won't let you overfeed her. Babies are so smart and when they're full they simply won't eat (at least my two were like that). You're doing good to see she's hungry and let her eat.

I wish I could help but I ws told nothing except breast milk until six months. But if you make your own food just use a food processer and freeze it in ice cube trays. They don't need to eat as much because it is just the veggies. Try bananas and peas you can mix a little breast milk in with it.

l always thought stage one is so thin and watery. Look at how much milk a baby has at once. Their tummies are not that small. That's how l feel about it. lf mine was eating that much, l'd would add a very small amount of rice cereal to her food to add some substance to it. We all have to do what we feel is right for our child. That's what l would do with mine.
