I wouldn't recommend that. Breastmilk and / or formula and later on foods will give them enough. I would suggest talking with your child's pediatrician.

Ok so I don't know how answer this. No it's not okay to give a child water until they are a year old just because you think they need fluids. Breast milk or formula is all they should have for food or liquids. Although if they are constipated it's good to give a few ounces because it flushes them out but only do that at most once every month or once every few weeks as to not deprive them of nutrients they need. It's basically like us taking milk of magnesia. It will just give them diarrhea while getting no nutritional value out of it. Hope that helps.

Hi ann! Exclusive bf is always the best unless you have medical issues or consult your dr.1 month is too early.he will get all the nutrients from your breastmilk. Ibukat.

I don't think it's okay. They get strangled really easy. My mamaw and one of my friends said to try that to get there bowels to move. But I went to my pediatrician she said there formula has enough water in it. And she said you shouldn't give them straight water. But everyone has there own opinion about it but that's just mine. Ask your pediatrician he or she will tell you the same thing!
