my husband sometimes compares my to a 1920s wife cooking/baking, cleaning and watching the kids sometimes i am sooo tired after supper i decide to lay down to nurse and fall asleep. is this wrong of me to expect to be able to nap every now and then??

Hell maybe try leaving your hubby with the kids after he has a long hard day at work? let him cook supper feed the kids get the washed up and ready for bed help with homework(if any) and see if he needs to take a nap :)

I only have one child girl and 3.5 and I do not work but attend classes and I cook supper every night unless we eat out or am like crazy sick and there are just days when I NEED to lay down and have a nap..and if that means putting on a movie in my daughters room and sleeping on the floor in front of the door for a half hour so be it..

ummm no! sometimes it just feels really good to take a nap, its actually good for you. I take a nap very often at least once a day 2-4 times a week. I cant help it either when my son goes to sleep I am tired and Id rather know I am well rested than be tired when taking care of my son.

It is SOOOO easy to fall asleep when nursing. It's not just that you're tired, it's the release of specific hormones when you nurse also. They relax you, make you sleepy.

I almost always dozed when breastfeeding both my kids. Especially the first 6 months when I was exclusively breastfeeding.

It's absolutely normal and nothing to feel bad about, especially if your husband is there to watch the other kids. If you were alone and sleeping and it was dangerous for the older kids, then there might be an issue, but as long as it's done safely, no issue.
