I've never been much of a planner and never cared for planning ahead, but now that my daughter is over a year old i cant stop planning things. I'm already up to halloween and what i want her to wear and places we could go. my boyfriend just looks at me and rolls his eyes. I just want to know if this is a bad thing?

I'm the same exact way, I plan things months ahead of time. We are supposed to be driving to NJ from CO which is a 27 and a half hour drive. I have been planning this trip for months, making sure I pack everything we could possible need especially for our two children ages 2 and 4. My husband also seems to mess up my plans so it can get very frustrating at times but hey what can I say WE'RE MOMMA'S lol!!!!

Planning is never a bad thing!! It may get frustrating when your plans dont fall through so try not to get frustrated if they dont. But I think that planning things is the ONLY way you will ever get anything done with kids!!! You have to time manage out the wazzoo!!

No, it's not bad. You're just excited! I do the same thing. The only thing I would say about planning ahead is stay flexible. Don't stress if you plans change or don't come to fruition.
