Is she ready?

[deleted account] ( 4 moms have responded )

My 18 month old has started pulling her diapers and bringing me fresh ones when she is wet or dirty. Some people have told me she is ready to potty train. That is exciting to me, but I don't want to push the issue if she's not ready. I don't think she can control when she goes. She still wakes up wet. I'm thinking I may wait until after the holidays (she will be staying over at her grandparents' some and we will be traveling, so I would want to wait until we are on our normal routine) Any suggestions or advice?

U should start potty training her now if she knows when she needs 2 be changed just take her every 2 hrs after meals and right after she wakes up. It will take longer for her 2 be able 2 control it at night so don't expect it then but during the day i would say she's ready! Best of luck!!!!!

start now but make sure you follow at the grandparents as well and you will find she will be there in no time at all she's telling you she's ready

My advice start potty training now, if you miss the signal, it will be harder later
