yes OMG shes horrible!! we get along for the most part great!! but everytime he and i get into it he calls her and crys and then she tells him to lie and change his bank account passwords and change his dad back to the benificiary( hes in the military) and then complains that im mean and that she has feelings too! IM like you crazy b**ch you can take your feeling snad shove them because i will not be treated like that.. and the WORST part about it is that he doesnt even defend me on it. he wants me to be her friend and talk to her!! I was floored!!

Quoting Sumadre:

I'm sorry to say this, but YES I do!!!! And now we live 3 blocks from her and he wants to spend time with her all the time. She's not married and not in a relationship so now he thinks its our duty to spend as much time with her as possible. But he does not spend nearly as much time with his son or with me. He is always tired from work but if she phones and asks he to do something it is ok...... I love her, she is a nice person, but sometimes she gets to me by interfering with my life and telling me how to look after my child and that my house is not clean enough, as if I have a maid to help me clean like she has.

U sound like in exactly the same boat as I am. My mil is not married, not in a relationship, we live like 4 minutes away from her. He LOVES to go to her house on the weekend. The only difference with me and u is that me and HER grandchildren our kids are not welcomed. Only my husband her son. She wants him all to herself. And like u, he never spends time with me or the  2 kids 15 and 10 yrs btw, but yet when she calls he'll be on the phone with her like 40 minutes. I mean come on, thats not a healthy relationship between a mother and a son. He'll do ANYTHING for her or her house and forget our house. He says why should he take care of the house like maintenence or our driveway he says its our house. Oh but heaven forbid, he gets her driveway dirty hes also a mechanic and forever fixing her van.
