Is this normal 3 year old behavior?

So we were visiting my sister a few weeks ago and my 3 year old nephew tried to get my 13 month old daughter to touch his penis. I was right there and told him no and took her away. I am wondering if this is normal 3 year old boy behavior or should I say something to my sister?

My boys always try to touch each others' when they're in the tub. I have explained to them that NO ONE is allowed to touch them there, and they may not ask another person to do so. They're boys, though, so they need lots of explaining. :) I wouldn't be too awfully concerned, but I would mention it to your sister.

If no one has ever taught him not to do that, then it is normal behavior; so he doesn't know any better. You may want to be sure that no one else is touching him down there and still talk to your sister to be on the safe side. Just a little talking to will help him understand that no one is to ever touch him down there.

Ok, he may have walked in on mom and dad doing something. Don't go saying to your sister you think he may have been touched by someone. My cousin flat out said to me one day I think your son is being molested at school. All because he punched her boyfriend in the butt a few times. I teach him to hit in the butt or stomach when playing fighting, rather then in the knackers(as he calls them) or the face. But as a mom I asked him what happened that day and he told me that his butt was in his face so he pushed him on the butt to get him to move. I believe him because when they are over he fallows her son around like a lost puppy bent over making sure he doesn't fall and hurt himself, I should say this kid is 2. Maybe he plays with himself and was just curious, but it does need to be addressed as he should not do this to a stranger or friend, and chances are if he is being touched by someone he wouldn't do it because even at three they know when people are doing something wrong.

My son is 4 and has never ever done that. I asked my husband if he ever did that as a boy and his response was "no way!"
