Hi! I am new to this and I am so glad to found this website. I have been a stay at home mom for almost a year to 2 beautiful kids. My son is 16 and my daughter is 2 and 1/2 years old. Lately, I have been feeling lonely and depressed. We move to a new state and I do not know anyone here. My husband work 6 days a week and we only have one car. So I'm always home taking care of my daughter, dealing with a teenager. and housework. I found myself missing my old life and reminiscing about the past. I sometimes resent moving but I do love it at the same time. Things are so different now for the good and bad. I wish I had someone I could talk to and can relate to my feelings. I know I should be Happy but I'm not and don't know what to do. I don't have anyone to talk.

Hey! Sorry you're feeling so down. I think part of it is just going to take some time. Time to meet people and get comfortable with them and time to adjust to your new world. I don't know if it's available where you live, but maybe try getting involved with MOPS or other Mommy groups. Check with the chamber of commerce for mommy/little one things in your area. The hospital may have some recommendations for you. Library's often have a weekly book reading time for moms to take their little ones to. Perhaps you could meet some people that way. And just be honest with your husband and kids. It's okay to talk about it and let them know how your feeling especially if the situation is making you grumpy. And pray about it. We don't always know why things have to be the way they are, but God does. I hope you get to feeling better soon and your new life turns out to be even better than the old one. May God bless you and use these experiences to make you stronger and bring you closer to Him:)
