I have a 6 year old daughter that has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease in June. A month later I was laid off of my job I held for over 8 years. I am almost confident it was because I took time off when she was in the hospital. In any case, I see this as a blessing in disguise as I should be home when problems arise with my daughters Crohn's. I am currently collecting unemployment compensation but as well all know, it doesn't last. I would appreciate any advice from mom's of what I can do to earn a living from home. Also, I would appreciate a look at my blog. It is www.caringforcrohns.blogspot.com. Thank you!

Hi Carrie,

Well, I enjoy reading, writing and baking. I've always thought about a baking business but that is a big investment ($ I don't have) and alot of time. With 3 kids and one having a chronic illness, time is also something I do not have. I started blogging in hopes to possibly build it up and help others but of course that takes time. Most of my working experience revolved around reviewing mortgage documents for accuracy and entering that data into the company computer system. I am very detail oriented so I guess I have that going for me. I would assume this is why I was at my last job for so long. Writing is something I feel I would be good at and enjoy. I did write a few poems many years ago but nothing published.

Theresa do you have any talents you could sell or market? What do you enjoy doing?
