Looking for suggestions as to what hobbies/interests you're involved with as a break from being "Mommy"

I have been feeling like my world is shrinking as I've given up all of my old interests/hobbies now that my 2 girls are here. They're 20 mos and 6mos, so I don't have a LOT of free time, but feel like I need something that is for me... just don't know what.

I go hiking or berry picking depending on the time of year. Sometimes a good book is all the mom time I need. I will read a couple chapters after the kids are in bed. I also do digital scrap booking. It depends on what you like to do. I sometimes even take the kids hiking with me.

I took up belly dancing. I couldn't say enough good things about it. It's a great way to get in shape and the classes are a nice excuse to get out every week.

I know the feeling. What did you enjoy before hand? There are alot of things you can do. For instance if you like fitness you can teach an fitness class and take the kids with you. Gyms are usually very flexible or just take a couple classes a week. If you like crafts you can sew, scrap book, make your own jewelry or candles. (as long as the kids are sleeping). You can take baking classes online. If you like to meet people you can start a business from home.
I started going to school (adding more work), taking an aerobics class, teaching aerobics, and doing a business at home. You can gradually add things you enjoy. Even if it is a weekly brunch with a friend. It's hard to be anyone other than MOM but it's important for your daughters to see you as a person with goals and passion as well.
