losing a child does never get any better

its been allmost 3 years when i lost my son to cp and i still find myself laying around no intrists and just sad every day . i try to ack normal when my girl is home she is 15 and we go and do things together and i just have to push my self to get though a day . i get so tiered of people telling me how i should fell,thay have no idea unless it has happenend 2 them. still struggling and trying to b a mother and wife. some times its just 2 much 2 handle.

I hear you. It doesn't get any better if the loss happens when your child is older either. A loss is a loss! After my husband's brother died, my parents-in-law just weren't the same. Counseling helps with the coping, but the loss is still there.

i'm so sorry for your loss. i can't imagine what you are feeling. can you find a support group in your area? there may be a support group here on Circle of Moms. my brother passed 12 years ago and i still can't imagine how my parents manage even though he was an adult at the time. i just watched their hearts break.

I would talk to your doctor about it..ive never had that happen to me before but if i was struggling i would do that. Or talk with a counselor.
