Losing my patience

I have had a rough week, I can't even explain how I'm feeling. I have three children, 3, 2 and 10 months. For the last week, all my kids have been sick with a viral thing, strep and hand, foot and mouth. I'm losing my mind. I have a headache, they cry all the time and I'm just so tired from being up all night all week that I can't take it anymore. I am also going to school full time, and needless to say haven't gotten as much done as I wanted. I am just so tired! I have a 2 bedroom house, so all my kids have to share a room, and it makes it that much worse at bedtime. I wish I had a job, I wish I could sit in a chair alone, without everyone climbing on me. I wish I could take a shower everyday. I appreciate being home, but it's like working in a factory for $8 an hour. Monotonous, mind-numbing and no rewards. AAAhhhh!

Mandy - are you a single mom? School can wait it you' v got ahubby supporting you. Your chidlren need you now.

Pray for a good job - to get you by. There are so many programs to help single moms out with utilities, etc., I did it alone with 5 after my husband died and did fine - No, we didn't have designer jeans and Micheal Jordan tennis shoes but we made it!

Wonderful memories are made when kids share a bedroom - do it! I shared with my 2 sisters and we loved it.

Shower early before anyone is awake - Make sure kiddos are in bed 7-7:30 each night. YOU need that time and they need the sleep -

Rewards - go to my facebook page and see 5 beautiful chidlren who were raised by a single mom and have now made me "Grama" - the rewars are far beyond what I'd ever imagine. School staff told me I had model children - my success... reading to them and spending as much time with them as I could.

TRUST ME - your children are the best investment you will ever make with your time and enrgies... EVEN THO every day SURE seems to be the same - its not!

Well, you can tell your husband that you need a break and let him handle the kids while you take a nice long bath or go out to get a coffee.

There's nothing wrong with having him take over so you can get a break.

Find a good babysitter that you trust....just sit on your porch for five minutes helps

Being a mom is hard work! Just take a deep breathe. Could you find someone to come babysit for a couple hours so that you could either get out by yourself or even just take a nap:)
