Trying to find a way to spice up lunch for my 4 year old!

Picky picky eater! Any suggestions?

Lunch is a tough one! We tend to rotate through peanut butter sandwiches, hot dogs, mac'n'cheese, and chicken nuggets. Though I do try to offer string cheese or yogurt and a fruit as a side with a meal to try to balance it out. Sometimes I can convince my kids to eat grilled cheese sandwiches or leftovers from the night before. I try to find things they do like and add to it, like they can have more apples after they try some more rice and vegetables or offering spaghetti with tomato sauce and emphasizing that it is pasta just like mac'n'cheese while encouraging them to try it. Also, I try to keep low sugar and low calorie snacks that my kids love around so that I know my children are getting healthy calories between meals to try to balance out those days when meal times are less than successful.

what i do is i take like stuff my kids think is yucky and put my own spin on it like for example my daughter doesnt like carrots so i give her the baby ones with those little peanutbutter dipping cups and put raisins on top of the little dipping cups works like a charm
