I can relate to what you're saying. When our girls were babies I had NO time to myself. Not a person who drives a car and not having relatives or a lot of friends to hel has made it all the more challenging. I was struggling just to get the house clean let alone having alone time just to do what I wanted to do. When my husband would get hme from work I would beg him to take our daughter(s) out for a walk or play with them so I could at least get the dishes done or change the bed sheets o something else that really needed to get done. If you can get a few minutes to yourself in the shower that is some nice, relaxing time. When ever you can sneak in a few minutes for you it is good for your spiritual well being. Going to the opposite extreme of ignoring the kids to do what ever you want wouldn't be healthy either, but wen you are able to get a few minutes it certainly isn't anything to feel guilty about. That's a common concern with moms who have little ones, but it sounds like you love your kids and are just trying to find an even ballance. Hot showers are very relaxing, so that's a healthy option.

LOL! I do exactly the same thing! I don't think it's a bad thing at all because I know first hand what kind of horrific mommy I would be if I didn't get my 15 minutes of "me time" in every morning!
