I am not sure how long it will take to get pregnant after having my mirena removed. I know all women are different. When I used the pills I was pregnant 4 months after stopping them. I heard with Mirena you have a better chance of getting pregnant within two months of removal. Any thoughts? OR Anyone have success soon after removal?

I was pregnant within 3 months of having it removed, but my doctor told us to wait a month before starting to try so my cycle could regulate itself.

I've had my mirena for two years now. I never had problems with mood swings just horrible headaches. Thanks Amy. I think i might wait till i have a regular period. I'm just worried, cause before the mirena and birth control pills i never had regular periods. Hope that doesn't mess things up for me.

I had the Essure put in right after they took the Mirena out. I didn't like the Mirena at all. It gave me horrible mood swings.

I would think you can get pregnant as soon as it's taken out. Not sure though.
