Since stay at home moms are also the resident house keepers, I was hoping someone could help me out. I have wood laminate floors that drive me crazy. Every time I mop, my floors look terrible because there are streaks all over it when it dries. I have tried everything I know. The swiffer sweeper, a regular mop, all sort of different cleaning solutions and nothing ever keeps it from streaking. Does anyone have the answer or does everyone's wood laminate floors look streaky?

have you tried pinesol? just mix a little bit of the with a bucket of water and use a rag. i know its a pain to have to get on your hands and knees but if u do that then wipe it up with a dry towel it should do the trick.

I have wood laminate floor in the kitchen, and I've never had a problem with it looking clean. Perhaps it is a different colour so I just don't see the streaks LOL! I want one of those steam mops though - they look cool!

Try a steam mop. These are great, and only use steam to clean. I have wood laminate floors, and this does not leave any streaks. Another positive is that you don't need any nasty chemicals; just water. They are a little pricey at the start, but as you don't need any chemicals, it actually works out cheaper in the long run!
