My 10 month old does not sleep thru the night! Normal or craving attention?

My 10 month old used to sleep thru the night and now she does not. Is this normal or is she just craving attention from mommy and daddy? And any tips to get her to sleep thru the night?

Put her on a routine..feed her, bathe her, and put her to sleep at the same time every night and she will get a lot better at it.

They usually change their patterns when their body is changing. Could be teething or a growth spurt or if something has changed around the house like daddy is working more or a schedule change. I don't think it would be because she is craving attention because she's not going to wake out of sleep because she wants attention. Just soothe her and make sure you keep everything dark and quiet around her while you are getting bottles ready and don't strike up conversation or anything. Just bottle, cuddles and back to bed. If you can, try to have the bottle ready before you even go into the room. That way she never leaves her bedroom.

My son goes thru phases like that too. He is 18 mos. old and was FINALLY sleeping thru the night at about 6 or8 mos. old. Then out of nowhere he decided he was gonna get up like 3 or 4 times. He could be teething, but if that isn't it stay strong and stick to your routine. I occasionally have to let my son cry for a bit until he goes back to sleep. (I check on him of course to be sure he isn't tangled in his blanket or and make sure he isn't getting sick first) He's pretty good now though Usually if he is up now, he's sick or getting sick.

hi there. we went thru the same thing with one of our boys. turns out it was his teething troubling him. we found that a little bonjela on his gums helped alot. as for getting her back to sleep, does she have music? we have always had a musical toy next to the bed and it seems to keep them content until they fall asleep. hope that helps a little and good luck.
