No, it doesnt hurt! Unless... he turns his head while he is still latched on. My Son bit me when he had a few teeth i think when he was 10 months and pierced my nipple that i had to feed him off the other breast and express the damaged one til it healed! But it rarely happened to me and my son was a vicious eater, lol! I really miss breast feeding.. :-(

If the latch is correct, it won't hurt from feeding him. If he bites, tell him NO in a firm voice. If repeats, stop and feed him a little later. Mine only bit when they were done and playing or not really hungry and ready to drop the feeding. Just watch out for the head turn. I don't think at 11 weeks he will be dropping too many feedings. Just make sure to not let him use your nipple as a teething toy.

Doesn't hurt too bad when they do bite if they do :), and usually if they are hungry and eating they won't bite only time they do bite is when they are sucking to pacify. So it depends what kind of nurser you are are you just feeding, no worries or do you let the baby eat/pacify and suckle to hearts content then you might get a nibble or two. I'm the latter nurser and this is my fifth and haven't had a bad enough experience to make me not want to nurse, lol.

I nursed my son until he was two, so he had plenty of teeth! The baby will soon learn not to bite when he sees the natural reaction you'll have if he does bite too hard (gasp, yelp, etc)

I breastfed until my son turned one and had quite a few teeth. Other than getting bit once or twice it really didn't make much difference. So overall I would say no they don't hurt most of the time:)

I think it usually doesnt hurt until they have opposing teeth and then it hurts if they bite or turn their head to look at something without letting go. With bottom teeth they say their tongue is supposed to cover their teeth but most girls in my mums group said they could feel something sharp sticking in to them even before they could see the tooth. My baby had two bottom teeth when I stopped and it never hurt me.
