my 2 1/2 month old daughter isnt getting full with 3 4oz's of milk and 2 4oz's of cereal and i dont want to over feed her what can i do?

Are your sure she's still hungry? When they have gas it sometimes seems that they are still hungry and to keep feeding them makes it worse. She shouldn't really need the cereal at her age either. That's what could be causing her pain or gas.

I'm sure at 2.5 months they should be having a bottle every 4 hours so that would be 5-6 bottles not just 3.

It's best to follow the instructions on the tin of formula.

At 2.5 months both my kids had a formula feed every 2-3 hours it's normal. Even through the night some nights they'd wake every 3 for a feed. Screaming straight after a feed sounds more like reflux or gas than still being hungry.

the doc told me to try the cereal and im thinking if i switch her formula to something else it will help but she's not gassy and the she spits the pacifier out and keeps screaming and holding her dosent work either. after she eats so much tho she quits crying

Cereal (or any solids) is not good for little babies. There digestive system is not ready for it and it can cause issues such as gas. A baby at 2 1/2 months should be eating around 22-30oz a day and every 3-4 hours. Also try a binky some babies want to suck in between feeds but aren't actually hungry
